OBJECTIVE
Core Crew was engaged to oversee mining, processing, and logistics services to enable a seamless and secure restart of operations. Our objective was to relaunch the site with a strong focus on safety and operational efficiency, ensuring the mine’s optimal readiness and appeal during a defined sales process.
THE CHALLENGES
The operation had been placed into Administration and was subject to a sale process, presenting the project with several complex challenges, including:
- Rapidly recruiting and onboarding a workforce.
- Operating under strict budget constraints and legacy issues.
- Equipment had been sat idle for more than three months prior to recommencement.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and repairing trust in the operation.
OUR APPROACH

Our team developed and maintained a dynamic management operating system (MOS) to keep staff focused and aligned with the objective of resuming full operations and facilitating the sale. Through strategic workforce planning and adaptive roster management, we ensured consistent progress toward these critical goals.

Given the short time frames indicated by the client for the provision of services, our ability to safely and rapidly onboard our people for the scope of services were an imperative for success. We demonstrated our ability to ramp up mining services safely and quickly by utilising our experienced and dedicated recruitment and onboarding team and managing the process within a disciplined PMO.
